More great news on the engineering and product side!

Jacob Chapel has joined our team as a full time Software Engineer / API Lead!  He was previously doing consulting work for Geeklist and we couldn’t wait to bring him on board!

Jacob’s most recent work has been the creation, support and complete development of the Geeklist API.  He did a phenomenal job by taking a concept and building the entire platform with no prior experience.  He is currently working on introducing APIs to the public, we already have a few great companies using it with great success.  Perhaps the most significant project Jacob has undertaken is finishing our events engine or personalized timelines (soon to be launched!)

Aside from building world-class applications, Jacob is a Node.js early adopter and he is constantly looking over our code and making it better across the board.  He is also extremely proficient with linux and he is constantly making contributions to our production deployment process and flow.  We could not be happier to have such a talented and dedicated engineer join our team!
