Opening our API to the public with a Global Online Hackathon [sign up here]
Yes! The long awaited Geeklist API are now open for public use. Hoorah!
[ok, well this is the Rails Girls Paris event we organized, but they’re really excited!]
You can read about the many API updates in this blog post or you can go straight to the API page at hackers.geekli.st.
As of today, Monday the 1st of October, we are officially releasing our API into the wild. We’re looking forward to all of the great and exciting ideas you come up with!
On November the 30th thru December 2nd we are holding a 48hr online Global Hackathon with some of the worlds coolest companies sponsoring and offering up their APIs. The goal… Build something that makes developers lives or the world better.
Go to hackers.geekli.st and put your name in, so we can notify you when registration opens.
You can count on pretty awesome prizes, great exposure, wide choice of API’s to hack on (not just ours) and many cities which will be hosting local ‘Meetup and Hack’ spaces around the world. Start forming your teams now or start playing with our API.
Some of the prizes will include:
- Cash Prizes
- Cool Swag from our sponsors
- Meet and pitch to VCs
- Advisory sessions with top designers, engineers and entrepreneurs.
- AND honorable mentions on our blog for the top winners of course!
We’ll be announcing our sponsors, judges, prizes and details in the coming week. Sign up HERE or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved or sponsor the event.
